Aument Schedules Walk and Talk Event in Marietta on May 2

MARIETTA – Senator Ryan P. Aument (R-36) will discuss issues of importance to the state and region during a Walk and Talk event in Marietta on May 2.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. with a walk with community residents along part of the trail in River Front Park, located at 1632 Old River Road, and a discussion of local and state issues. The conversation will continue in the pavilion area until 5:30 p.m.

All community residents are invited to participate, and an RSVP is appreciated but not required, Aument said.

“I always appreciate the chance to gather input from Lancaster County residents about what is happening in local communities, as well as enjoying the recreational opportunities that exist in our area,” Aument said. “This format combines both of these elements, and I hope it will lead to an open and interesting dialogue about the issues we face together.”

The event will be held rain or shine. In the case of rain, the conversation will be held entirely at the pavilion. More details about the event are available by contacting Tina Thompson in Senator Aument’s office at (717) 627-0036.
