Aument to Host Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Nov. 22

EPHRATA – Sen. Ryan Aument (R-36) invites veterans of the 36th District and their guests to attend a veterans appreciation breakfast on Monday, Nov. 22, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Indian Rock Center, Woodcrest Retreat, 225 Woodcrest Drive, Ephrata.

A complimentary breakfast from Shady Maple Smorgasboard will be provided, and George P. March of the Society of The Honor Guard will present a program in observance of the Centennial of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Information about relevant legislation and veterans’ benefits will also be available.

“Our veterans, from every era, have dedicated their lives to defending this country, and we will be eternally grateful for their service and sacrifice,” Sen. Aument said. “We truly owe them the life we know today.”

The 36th District includes part of Lancaster County, consisting of the townships of Brecknock, Caernarvon, Clay, Conoy, Earl, East Cocalico, East Donegal, East Earl, East Hempfield, Elizabeth, Ephrata, Mount Joy, Penn, Rapho, Warwick, West Cocalico, West Donegal, West Earl and West Hempfield, as well as the boroughs of Adamstown (Lancaster County portion), Akron, Columbia, Denver, East Petersburg, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, Lititz, Manheim, Marietta, Mount Joy, Mountville, New Holland and Terre Hill.
