FAQ’S

Isn't it your job to come up with ideas to make Pennsylvania better?

Yes, but in order to know what problems need fixed, I need to hear from you. I am not an expert in automobile sales, cosmetology, construction, or retail (to name a few), and therefore I need to hear from those of you in the community that are experts in your respective fields so that we can work together to identify problems and develop solutions. I have always said throughout my time in the PA General Assembly that the residents of Lancaster County are my best resource to help me do my job well.

What type of feedback are you looking for?

I am inviting you help me restore and reimagine a stronger Pennsylvania. So tell me what your communities, schools, businesses, and families need to rebuild and restore. It can be as simple as identifying a problem that you see, or as complex as recommending a solution along with the problem. When you look at your community, your school, your business, and your family – what’s missing? What barriers and obstacles exist? What’s needed? What’s good and what’s bad? What’s right and what’s wrong? Where are the gaps? How can we fill in those gaps? What can we do together to restore and reimagine a stronger Pennsylvania?

What will you do with our feedback?

We will analyze and compile it into a final report that identifies challenges and recommends solutions to the problems that residents have identified in their communities. We will then make the report available for public review and discussion this summer. Until then, you can view updates on our Restore & Reimagine PA initiative on this website.

There are three ways to submit your ideas to me:

  1. Call 717-429-6652 and leave your full name, zip code, and a brief description of your idea.
  2. Fill out my web contact form with a brief description of your idea.

  1. Fill out my web contact form with a brief description of your idea.

Am I permitted to attend multiple outreach events?

Attendance at outreach events is encouraged, but please be respectful and allow others a chance to participate and share their ideas if you have already had an opportunity to do so before. You can always submit additional thoughts and feedback using one of the two other methods:

  • Call 717-429-6652 and leave your full name, zip code, and a brief description of your idea.
  1. Fill out my web contact form with a brief description of your idea.

I also encourage residents to fill out my Restore & Reimagine PA Survey. Additionally, you can view recordings of all past outreach events.

Can I submit multiple ideas?

Yes, absolutely. If possible, however, it would be more efficient for my team as they compile the feedback if you could try to submit all your ideas in one entry, whether that be one voicemail, one email, or one web contact form. To the best of your ability, a brief and condensed submission is much appreciated!

Can I fill out the Reimagine PA Survey more than once?

Only one survey submission per person will be counted towards the final tally.

How long do I have to submit my feedback?

My office is always ready to receive feedback from constituents, and we encourage constituents to contact us if they have thoughts or ideas to share. However, it’s important to note that the Restore & Reimagine PA Survey will close at 5pm on Friday May 29th, 2020, meaning that no more survey submissions will be accepted after that deadline. This is to ensure that my team has enough time to analyze and compile the survey results so that they can be incorporated into the final Restore & Reimagine PA Report.

Additionally, please be aware that while constituents can still continue to submit comments, questions, and concerns per usual on my website or by calling my district office, any comments submitted after the May 29th deadline will NOT be compiled into the final Restore & Reimagine PA Report.

Once the final Restore & Reimagine PA Report is made public in the summer, I intend to host additional outreach events so residents can provide comments and feedback on the report. The Restore & Reimagine PA initiative is intended to be a truly joint effort that is informed by Lancaster County residents and the real needs they see in the community. Our work is not done after the report is released, but rather, it is just beginning. So please continue to share your thoughts and ideas with me throughout this entire process and beyond, because your input is what helps me to represent you best in Harrisburg.
