I held an in-person Pizza & Policy with constituents of the 36th Senatorial District on Tuesday, April 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Listrak in Lititz. I provided an update from Harrisburg and then opened it up for questions from the audience. Over 90 constituents attended and some of the topics discussed were:
- Education funding, pre-K programs, and childcare funding,
- Funding for Direct Service Providers who work to care for those with intellectual disabilities,
- Power grid reliability, security, and concerns about mandated rolling blackouts,
- Gun violence and gun control,
- Sanctuary cities and illegal immigration,
- Elections, mail-in ballots, and voter ID, and more.
