Approximately 80 students from nine school districts in Lancaster County participated in my Senator for a Day student government seminar at the Capitol Building in Harrisburg on March 9. Students were asked to debate some of the most important issues that are under consideration in the General Assembly, and I was impressed by their enthusiasm and thoughtfulness in approaching these problems. I appreciated the chance to hear their unique and interesting perspectives and look forward to the next event!
