July 27, 2017 – Senator Aument welcomes Reverend Eugene Weaver, Senior Pastor at Harvest Fellowship Church in Stevens. Rev. Weaver served as Guest Chaplain of the Senate.
July 20, 2017 – Governor Wolf signs into law Senator Aument’s legislation, Senate Bill 527, establishing the Office of Inspector General in statute.

June 6, 2017 – Senator Aument voted in support of Governor Wolf’s nomination for promotion of Colonel Benjamin (Mike) Cason to Brigadier General. Colonel Cason is a 1990 graduate of The Citadel.
June 7, 2017 – Senator Aument recently co-chaired a public hearing on the roll out of the P25 State Police statewide radio system.
June 28, 2017 – Senator Aument presented a Senate citation to recent Donegal graduate, Joanna Harlacher. Joanna competed at National History Day, a nationwide contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Her website took first place in the Senior Individual Website category, earning her the title of a National Endowment of the Humanities Scholar.
June 1, 2017 – Senator Aument and Representative Zimmerman held a Concealed Carry Seminar in Blue Ball. Assistant District Attorney Mark Fetterman gave a presentation and answered questions along with officers from East Earl Township Police Department.
